BBC here now all that can come join us quick!

  2. The psychologist and writer Oliver James has signed today!

  3. A message from Jonathon Porritt who supports our campaign…

I’ve signed up to the petition. And my reasons for doing so are clear. After more than forty years of campaigning on a vast range of environmental issues, I know precisely how valuable these “special places” are to local communities. The biodiversity value is huge in itself, but that sense of belonging and identity weighs just as much in the minds of people who cannot understand such senseless vandalism.
