Manchester City Council make excuses for destroying mature trees and wildlife habitat

Local residents and park users are shocked at the extent of the felling of mature trees and destruction of wildlife habitat by Manchester City Council. Despite living next to the park one resident said they had not been consulted or informed about the Council’s plans and thought that a compromise should be sought between the councils plans and keeping the beauty of the park.
